Matchbox 2 (2026)

Size: 20cm x 9.5cm x 3.5cm

Material: Glazed ceramic

Each matchbox depicts a carved image of a women in my family. The reference photos span the last century and several generations. They are portraits of people I’ve never met. The burnt matches are a reminder not just that they aren’t here anymore but also that they lived lives that burned bright.
