This is a specific moment that I see in art therapy and also recognise from my own art practice. When you’ve been engrossed making something, in a state of flow, and then take a step back to look at what you’ve made. That little crook of the neck, hands rested but turned outward to not get things dirty. Observing your work, seeing what you can gather from it.
